Goodwood Festival of Speed Preview!

UK’s mainstream car ‘show’ (Is it show-down?) and one of the most awaited festivals on the calendar world-over, the Goodwood Festival of Speed is up around the corner and the celebrations are already springing up. Come next weekend, the largest motoring garden party in the world will be up and running as amazing as ever at Goodwood.
This year they are promising a moving motor show with one day dedicated for manufacturers with companies showcasing their latest offerings. The world debuts of the McLaren MP4-12C, the revised Aston Martin DB9 and the Jaguar XKR 75 are expected. Scheduled is an exclusive display programme for the Alfa Romeo Centenary and also an exclusive ‘Style at Luxe’ Concours with sections for rare supercars. Expected in this section are two amazing supercars of yore made in very small numbers for customers or just for prototype purposes, the Ferrari F.Z.93 and the Italdesign BMW Nazca C2.
Many other manufacturers will also be there. Hence expect Porsche to be present with a celebration of their victories at the Targa Florio and may be, a display of their latest and hot, 918 supercar. The WRC and IRC championship cars are expected to be there for the forest rally stages and the Formula One Championship Cars shall also be there. Enthusiasts make sure to be around Chichester next weekend then!
