Since December 2, 1983 Michael Jackson became synonymous with ‘Thriller’ a 14 minute video about zombies and a werewolf and almost nearing two decades now the video is still as popular as ever. Now the buzz doing the rounds is that Kenny Ortega the man behind Michael Jackson’s This Is It is planning to make a full-length movie on the legendary singer’s video ‘Thriller’.

The video has inspired generations of entertainers ranging from singers, dancers, choreographers and even horror film makers. It is not yet out on what the film will be based on but the rumor is that the Vincent Prince’s voice in ‘Thriller’ will be the central part in the film.

Everyone knows that the film is going to be huge so the production houses are already vying for the rights, Fox 2000, Lionsgate but it is GK Films who are nearing to close the deal. Apart from Ortega, the screenplay is rumored to be written by ‘The Hangover’ fame screenwriter Jeremy Garelick. It is not yet known who will helm the department of choreography.

The budget if the film is rumored to be $50 million while the video was made under $500,000 on the other hand $60 million was spend on This Is It. It is quite a wonder why the budget of the film is so less, but nonetheless whatever it is, we all hope that the rumor is true and soon Michael can get back on the big screen transforming himself into a werewolf and dancing away with the zombies.

The actress is indeed in a financial crunch and so giving up on meat diet is a small price to pay. Also Lindsay has the experience of shedding her clothes and quite a lot of stars have gone nude for PETA’s campaign, so she can take the money and go that way too in future. But that’s not happening for a long time; all Lindsay has to do now is give up on meat and get the money.

Kristen Stewart is quite unhappy with the producers of the ‘Welcome to the Rileys’ as they have deleted the stripping scene of hers from the film. The film is already rated R for its language and sexual content and the subject matter, but the film happens to be very close to Kristen’s heart.

No wonder she is in love with the film, as post ‘Twilight’ this film is making Kristen big as an actress and not a star. Also for the film she took quite a lot of pain to learn the art of stripping. Now the scene is being left behind in the editing board and it’s not really going down well with Stewart.

In the film Kris plays the role of a runaway stripper of 16years old named Mallory and shares the screen with other powerhouse actors like James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo. In the ‘Welcome to the Rileys’ Kris had the totally opposite role of that from the one she has in ‘Twilight’ flicks, this one is more sexually charged but caters to a niche audience. We just hope that despite the clipping of the Kristen’s stripping scenes the film works wonders for the actress’ career.

The film is having a limited release on Nov’ 5 2010, it was premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and both the director, Jake Scott and the actors received rave reviews from the critics.

Justin Bieber has become one of the last resorts of the MLB World Series to gain its viewership. The singer is going to launch the acoustic version of his latest single “Never Say Never” video. It is the title track of his upcoming movie. There will be footage from Bieber’s concert and hopefully the Bieber fever can take the ratings of the World Series out of the pit.

On Saturday night, the third game of the series will launch Bieber’s video. It will be part of the pre-show at Arlington, Texas. The Game 3 between the Texas Rangers and San Francisco Giants will take place at 6:30 pm one of the earliest starts of the game in 23years. One of the primary reasons of such an early start is to get the young viewership as Justin will be part of the show.

Kelly Clarkson the alumni of ‘American Idol’ will perform the national anthem before the game start. With these young entertainers will the World Series rating go up? It has dwindled by 25 percent to 8.9 this year from 11.9 percent of last year.

The alter ego of Superman as Clerk Kent was Matt Lauer and Al Roker became the Man of Steel.

It’s been only a couple of days that Tom Hardy was heard to be close to signing on the dotted lines for the role of Huntsman in ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ but now the buzz is the role is being offered to Johnny Depp. From the time the film has been announced various names have got associated with the project.

Angelina Jolie was heard to take on the role of the evil Queen Ravenna; soon it changed to Charlize Theron, now Hardy’s name is getting replaced by Depp. It is really unlikely that Johnny will take the part; firstly the actor is super-conscious of not repeating the same kind of a role in two different films. He has already played the role of Mad Hatter in ‘Alice in Wonderland’ ad film which has an alternative take on the story. So it is pretty dubious that he would take the role of the Huntsman in another Disney’s tale.

Furthermore, ‘The Brave’ actor is too busy with his other projects which will hit the screens from the end of this year and will go on till 2011. In December ‘The Tourist’ is opening, in March the actor’s film ‘Rango’ will hit the screen, around May the fourth installment of the Pirates film ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’ and sometime next year ‘The Rum Diary’ will hit the theatres.

Universal has done a press release stating that ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ will release in December 21^st 2012. Since it has a long time before it starts, will Johnny be part of the project?
