Tiger and Elin Nordegren met separately with divorce attorneys on Tuesday for the second straight day, fueling speculation that a split may be imminent. It seems she is not satisfied with his effort to save his marriage; his lack of commitment enraged her when Tiger missed his daughter’s birthday on Friday at the U.S. Open. His half hearted approach during sex rehab has also ticked her off apparently. Elin is actually looking for a whopping $750 million settlement, and is considering moving to South Florida so that Woods could remain in touch with his kids. The Michael Jackson estate and others have been asking … who’s behind an unauthorized MJ memorial set to go down Saturday night at the Beverly Hilton — now, there’s a smoking gun pointed at Joe Jackson.

As we previously reported, the bash is being thrown by a website called VoicePlate.com — but no one could identify the person responsible for pulling the strings. It’s also unclear who convinced Katherine Jackson to record that awkward, scripted promotional video for the tribute.

But now — a clue … and it all has to do with the featured entertainment at the MJ tribute … a band called the Chi-Lites — they had a couple of hits in the ’70s, including “Oh Girl” and “Have You Seen Her.”

If you recall, just days after MJ died … Joe Jackson shamelessly held a news conference to introduce his new business partner, Marshall Thompson … a member of the Chi-Lites.

Think it’s coincidence that the band got a brand new gig … at an MJ event?

This pop star is one who makes news equally for both her music and her attire. This week she graces the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, wearing what she’s best at a bra and a thong, the lady we assume is allergic to pants. Inside in an interview to the magazine Gaga gives her fans another reason to celebrate.
The ‘Telephone’ singer announced that she has ‘finished’ work on her third album. “I’ve been working on it for months now, and I feel very strongly that it’s finished right now. It came so quickly”. The pop icon added “Some artists take years; I don’t. I write music every day.”
The singer however went on to say that though she was done with the third album, the same would not be released until early next year. Gaga’s first two albums were Fame released in 2007 and The Fame Monster which followed in 2009. The third album is yet to be named and but of course the singer has her very own way of announcing the name. She says “I think I’m gonna get the album title tattooed on me and put out the photo”. She plans to announce the name at midnight on New Year’s Eve. Well with her dressing style we are sure it won’t be difficult for fans to spot the album name tattoo on her.
The singer went on to say that till now her album songs “consisted mostly of soulless electronic pop”, but the songs in her forthcoming album are with a bitterer message. “I have been for three years baking cakes. Now I’m going to bake a cake that has a bitter jelly,” she said. “The message of the new music is now more bitter than it was before. Because the sweeter the cake, the more bitter the jelly can be.”

American Idol, one of the highest rated and most impactful shows in the History of American Television is a reality show which hunts for a new solo singing talent. The show debuted in 2002 on Fox Network. Despite covering 9 seasons, this show hasn’t lost its charm or its viewers and continues to dominate all other television programs and be number one for the last six consecutive seasons.
The age limit for the participants in American Idol till the last season was 16-28, but has now be lowered by the producers to 15 for all the future seasons. “A lot of young, talented people are now seeking careers and representation before they turn 16, lowering the age limit allows us to tap into this talent pool” said Cecile Frot-Coutaz, executive producer of the show.
Auditions for the 10th season of the show are scheduled to begin on July 17th and will be held in six cities in the US. However the shortlisted participants will get to perform in front of the judges of the show not before September.
Lowering the entry level age is not being accepted well by critics and a lot of viewers. Most feel the show is trying desperate measures to re-vamp itself, since its ratings have begun to come down a bit and also because it has lost its main judge Simon Cowell.

Child star Paul Petersen, founder of the child advocacy group “A Minor Consideration, says “adults have a hard enough time handling rejection and criticism, but children are not prepared for it.”According to him ‘unrealistic expectations’ that come with fame can later lead to self-destructive behaviour and hence parents must wait at least till the time their children graduate from high school before exposing them to such environments.

Considering that out of the show’s 9 seasons, only one season saw a teenage winner , lowering the age limit down further does seem unreasonable, But then the likes of Justin Biber became famous at the age of 15 , so why deprive other talented teenagers like him of the opportunity to fame.

If you were to pass by the Nokia Plaza in Los Angeles today, you would be shocked by the scene there, the area looks more like a camping destination now, courtesy hundreds of Twilight fans that have flocked there from far and wide just to catch a glimpse of their favourite Twilight stars, who will be attending the Eclipse premiere show on Thursday.
These fans have been camping their four days ahead of the premiere. They have come fully prepared with tents, blankets, books, food and drinks. The third in the Twilight movie series, Eclipse will be playing at the L.A Film Festival a week ahead of its release in U.S. The movie will be released in U.K on July 1st.
These diehard fans of all age groups are braving the cold and literally living on the streets to catch a glimpse of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, the stars of Eclipse, who will be attending the premiere show on Thursday.

The campers also have Twilight branded towels, blankets and other accessories. They have placed large cut-outs of their favourite stars and several messages claiming their love for the stars. An Eclipse trailer is being played over and over again on a big screen facing their camps.

While the Twilight fans are going overboard with excitement regarding the movie series, Robert Pattinson, one of the main stars of the film on the other hand recently stated that he is bored by performing in the Twilight series and would now like to work on some different projects.

While these thrilled fans wait eagerly to catch a glimpse of the trio, it is very doubtful that they will actually get to see any of their stars for whom they are bearing such hardships, since the film is listed as a ‘bonus by invitation’ screening.
Let’s hope their dreams aren’t shattered by the stars and that Rob, Stewart and Lautner do make a little effort to go out of the way and greet those, who have made them what they are today. Till then hope the fans continue to enjoy their very own Twilight Festival in L.A.

We still remember the cute eleven year old boy wizard who was perfectly enacted by the resourceful Daniel Radcliffe. His earlier stint only consisted of few television movies and his role as David Copperfield. But ever since he embarked on a journey with his portrayal of J K Rowling’s phenomenon, he has never looked back. He even managed to act in plays and a couple of movies in between, but his claim to fame has always been his bespectacled lightning scarred avatar. The global audience responded in kind and made the series the most successful of them all.
With the final chapter in the franchise approaching its release date, Daniel has started to spread out his roots and polish his acting repertoire. Radcliffe will play the lead in a remake of the 1930 Best Picture winner “All Quiet on the Western Front”, originally based on Erich Maria Remarque’s novel. The World War I drama tells the story of Paul Baumer (Radcliffe’s role), a young German soldier fighting in the trenches of France. Radcliffe seems to like acting on the stage, as he’ll be appearing on Broadway in “How to Succeed without Really Trying” next year and will shoot this Western Front remake in spring of 2012. I believe that Daniel has a glorious career ahead of him and his choice of movies is even starting to mirror my assumption. What are your thoughts?

If you do look at the bigger picture, you suddenly realize that there is not a single drop of substance lying underneath the glazed skin of Hollywood’s latest buzz Twilight. The books were mostly meaningless meanderings and whining of a teenage girl who sets a very bad example for girls everywhere, by simply ignoring the option of going to college and her desperation to get hitched with her boyfriend so she could get married and get pregnant! Meanwhile she leaves her family and friends stranded behind and don’t even bother to explain anything to them. The movies followed suit with a lead actress (Kristen Stewart) who has difficulty in shifting her facial muscles to enact any singular emotion and Robert Pattinson, who plays the lead “sparkling in sunlight” vampire. With inane movie dialogues and nonexistent drama and action, it’s only the fandom of millions of heart stricken girls which is fueling this franchise forward.
So does Mr. Pattinson have any chance of a career beyond the series? He does have only four different movies to his name (since starring in the franchise), out of which two have already released and two of them are lined up. The coming attractions from the pretty boy are as follows; “Bel Ami” is an upcoming film starring Robert Pattinson and Uma Thurman and is based on the 1885 French novel of the same name by Guy de Maupassant. Another project for which he is currently shooting is “Water for Elephants”, based on a historical novel by Sara Gruen. Now going by the above choices, it does sound like Pattinson is trying to redeem his mistakes. We hope he goes far beyond his melting chocolate boy portrayal of a vampire.

The ‘Maine Pyar Kiya ‘ star has always been deeply involved in philanthropy, however sadly in the past he was more in news for his controversies and affairs , than for being a Good Samaritan that he is . But since the 44 year old actor formally launched his NGO, Being Human, his charitable efforts have caught the public eye and have helped him shadowed his otherwise contentious past .
On the reason behind the name of his NGO, this successful Bollywood actor had said, Being human for me is…being human. We all are human beings and I think we don’t do anything human to be human so you have to do something. I mean God gives you so much and you know eventually you need to start giving it back. Everyone does that, I’m sure, in some way or the other but I wanted to start this on my own for a long time now. But I just couldn’t find the time and I’m more inclined to this now.
And Being Human he is, he’s worked extensively for cancer and AIDS patients and underprivileged children.
Recently the actor donated 25 computers to an NGO, Saint Catherine’s Home in Bandra. The actor visits this NGO twice a month to interact and play with the children residing there. On one of his visits he learnt that the children were keen to learn computers but the institution didn’t have enough funds to arrange foe sufficient sets, so the actor with the Golden heart went ahead and arranged for 25 computers.

The 2008 hit Race, starring Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna , with Bipasha Basu and Katrina Kaif as the leading ladies was an action packed thriller that had so many twists , that it was absolutely impossible to predict just what would happen next.
This movie largely explored the themes of passion, betrayal and sibling rivalry and was filmed majorly in Durban and Dubai . Race was received well by the public and it became the fourth biggest Bollywood hit of 2008. It grossed a revenue of Rs. 68,00,00,000 worldwide.

The movie also won the Best Screenplay Award, organised by Screen Weekly and received a nomination for the Best Music Direction by Filmfare Awards.
This action packed thriller is now ready to come up with its sequel, shooting for which is expected to begin early next year.

Producer Ramesh Taurani and directors Abbas-Mastan have confirmed the male star cast for Race 2 has been finalised. It includes Saif and Anil Kapoor once again and the latest heart throb John Abraham, will apparently play the villain in the movie. While the actors have been finalised, the actress have yet to be announced. Katrina and Bipasha who sizzled in the Race 1, will not be seen in its sequel. Speculations are on that Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor are being considered to play the leading ladies.

All those who loved Race1, have already set their expectations very high for this prequel and hope that the directors will get something much more fast and steamy to get their hearts racing on once more.
