Come on admit it, “The Proposal” was a dud. It gave Sandra Bullock the opportunity of accomplishing a rare feat of winning a razzie along with an Oscar (for her performance in “The Blind Side”) in the same year. Jennifer Aniston on the other hand gave a box office bomb with her latest release of “The Bounty Hunter”. Bullock is riding high with her win, so why does she have to do this?
There is media speculation that Bullock is apparently planning a movie along the same lines of “The Bounty Hunter”. But obviously instead of the Scottish Gerard Butler, she is again pairing up with her “The Proposal” co-star Ryan Reynolds. Why put an axe through your foot when there are more ways to commit a career suicide? Don’t get me wrong I have admired Jennifer Aniston’s past work and adored her in F.R.I.E.N.D.S, but her recent movies have left me wanting for good old “Rachel”. Sandra, you finally got a great break so take the opportunity and knock the ball out of the park and please don’t remake such vile movies even if you are just borrowing the concept.

American actress Sandra Bullock was presented with the “Troops Choice” award for entertainer of the year. The award was presented by Robert Downey Jr. She received a standing ovation from the audience inside the Sony pictures Studios on Saturday.
She was in a fine jovial mood however she has not yet recovered from the lashes of the past by Jesse James. She commented on the award as being presented to her for the entertainment her personal life has provided to the world.
She further joked on stating that she was a very good dancer however her dress was pretty tight. The Oscar-award-winning actress also thanked the troops for their sacrifices towards the country.
However a brave front you might put Sandra we know the chasm in your heart created by Jesse James. Time is the best healer, and it will help you recover.

You all must have heard about a little movie called “The Dark Knight”? Yeah, the one that made almost a billion dollars in its overall box office performance. Christopher Nolan, the acclaimed director of this action masterpiece is back with his new pet project curiously titled as “Inception”. Its plot has been strictly guarded by the people involved in it. Nolan, famous also for his movies such as the thought provoking ‘Memento”, the much welcome revamp in the form of “Batman Begins” and the critically lauded adaptation “The Prestige”, has rounded up a powerhouse star cast for his next venture. With the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Michael Caine (Phew! I think I am running out of breath) and a host of other character actors, this promises to be one jaw dropping experience!
In publicity campaigns the movie has been using the same beaten path as “The Dark Knight”. But where this proved to be one of the strengths for the movie, for “Inception” it’s proving otherwise. Most of the curious fans have complained on chat forums, about the general complexity of clues randomly scattered around the television and the internet. Television ads relating to "Prevent Mind Crime" and viral clues leading to websites like mind-crime.com and whatisdreamshare.com have confirmed very little known facts and have thus left fans of Nolan slightly disappointed. For the time being we only know of this juicy piece that DiCaprio dons the role of a corporate dream thief who steals ideas from the “inner architecture of the mind” of business rivals. Sounds intriguing don’t it? Inception is releasing on July 16, 2010.

The MTV movie awards are back with a bang. Though the announcement of the winners did not throw up any surprises or last minute cliffhangers, vampire fable Twilight was evidently the main feature of the event. Sweeping the night away with a win in 5 major categories, the tale of vampires and werewolves has maintained its dominance over the awards.
Oscar winning starlet Sandra Bullock won the evening’s Generation Award. Looking elegant in her own manner, the actress received her award with a good dose of humor thrown in. But the baton for “the” performance of the night has to be handed over to, none other than our very own Hollywood heartthrob, Tom Cruise. Reverting to his role of Les Grossman, the “Tropic Thunder” producer, his comic turn was perfectly capped by a song and dance number with Jennifer Lopez herself.
The award winners are listed below:
BEST MALE PERFORMANCE Winner: Robert Pattinson - The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
BEST FEMALE PERFORMANCE Winner: Kristen Stewart - The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
BEST FIGHT Winner: Beyonce Knowles vs. Ali Larter – Obsessed.
BEST BREAKOUT STAR Winner: Anna Kendrick - Up in the Air.
BEST SCARED-AS-SH**T PERFORMANCE (New Category) Winner: Amanda Seyfried - Jennifer’s Body.
BEST KISS Winner: Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson - The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
BEST WTF MOMENT Winner: Ken Jeong - The Hangover, Naked Trunk Surprise.
BEST VILLAIN Winner: Tom Felton - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
BIGGEST BADASS STAR (New Category) Winner: Rain.
GLOBAL SUPERSTAR (New Category) Winner: Robert Pattinson.
BEST COMEDIC PERFORMANCE Winner: Zach Galifianakis - The Hangover.
BEST MOVIE Winner: The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

However this thing is one of the events of the past and the point is just that his fans came to know of the storm after it has subsided.

The gossip mill is abuzz again! We simply cannot get enough of the Twilight couple, can’t we? Hollywood hunk Pattinson is apparently a little miffed in his alleged relationship with Kristen. Recent reports of Stewart going berserk in front of the paparazzi and the infamous “rape” comment has put little seeds of doubt in the vampire’s head. Robert has been calm, to the point of being suave, in his dealings with the media mongers but Kristen sure could take a leaf out of her “beau’s “ book.
The general public has speculated about their relationship being an elaborate hoax by the Twilight franchise owning studio Summit Entertainment. This pioneering method of generating rumors has been used by studios since the days of yore to cash in on the craze of gullible fans. Focusing on Robert and Kristen we do feel that somewhere there is a crack in their “relationship”. Robert has already proved his acting mettle by the recently released movie “Remember Me”.
His restrained performance with former “Bond” Pierce Brosnan has garnered him some positive accolades. While Kristen still has a long path to walk, a variation in her expressions would certainly be a helpful addition to her histrionic repertoire. Doesn’t she have the same dour expression for all her depictions of emotions on screen? I certainly feel so, that whether its happiness, sadness, anger or simply confusion, Kristen manages it all by not changing a single muscle in her face. Twilight fans just pray for the couple if you want to keep them united!

Gary Coleman, the 42 year old actor most remembered for his child role as Arnold Jackson, in the T.V sitcom Diff’rent Strokes, passed away last week after slipping into coma because of a head injury.
The actor, who once earned about $100,000 per episode as a child star, didn’t really have much of savings and earnings to live comfortably later in life. The actor’s career went down in the 1980’s and never recovered from then to the extend Coleman even worked as a security guard to earn some money. The once upon a time highest paid T.V child star, later landed up filing for bankruptcy in 1999 and even sued his adoptive parents and business advisor over misappropriation of his funds.
Coleman who is survived by his ex-wife and parents now even after his death is being made to face the heat of financial woes. His wife in an interview has said that she has no money to afford a funeral for him and is hoping that his near and dear ones show some compassion and help her to arrange for a decent funeral. She adds the lack of funds is on account of two reasons; the actor had no acting work in hand and he had no life insurance on account of his kidney problems.
Thankfully for the actor, his will has now surfaced and an executor has been named in it. So his ex-wife nor his estranged parents will have to plead others for arranging for this star to be laid in rest peacefully.
