Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe will make his debut on a Broadway musical this year. The 20 year old actor has bagged the lead role for the musical play, “How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying”. He will be playing the part of J Pierrepont Finch, a window cleaner who manages to make it to the top of a company in order to win over a girl. The part was originally played by Robert Morse on Broadway in the 1960s and it even won a Tony award then as the best musical which ran 1417 healthy performances.

The latest adaptation will be directed and choreographed by Rob Ashford who directed “Cry Baby” and choreographed “How to succeed”. Producers Craig Zandan and Neil Meron, who are well known for the success of Chicago and Hairspray, are also involved in this project. Though this will be Daniels first musical venture, but he is no stranger to the stage. He grabbed eye balls last year for his role in “Equus” where had go nude for parts of the play. Radcliffe is scheduled to perform in this upcoming musical sometime in December.

Miley Cyrus has confirmed the reports about her quitting twitter. This teen star did it with style; she made a rap video telling why she deleted her twitter account and posted it on You Tube. She sends out a message through the song that she is tired of pleasing the tabloids and would love to keep her life private. The Hannah Montana star that had a following of more than one million people on her twitter account made headlines on Thursday by calling it a day. Meanwhile her fans have started an online campaign trying to get her back to tweeting again.

In one of her last tweets Miley has said that her boyfriend actor Liam Hemsworth didn’t have a twitter account and wanted her to delete it too. But in her twitter quit rap video she held the media responsible for such an action since they turned her remarks into gossip news. In recent months the Hollywood news sites kept on seizing her remarks about her relationships and her weight issues and turned them into news stories. This has definitely irked the singer who decidedly shut down her account. But her father Billy Ray Cyrus is urging her daughter to return to twitter and start micro blogging again, and he did it by tweeting!

Aussie sensation Alex Lloyd has won his case over Mr. O’Keefe, to prove he wrote the award wining 2001 hit single ‘Amazing.’ The Federal court dismissed the claim of Mr. O’Keefe, a truck driver who said he had written the song.

Ahead of the final day of a court hearing to determine the author of the song, lawyers from both the parties reached an agreement that brought the case to an end.

Mr. O’Keefe claimed he had originally written the song in a Sydney pub and had given it to Lloyd to add the finishing touches.

The case was dismissed by Judge Nye Perram and Mr. O’Keefe was ordered to pay the costs.

After Lloyd’s victory, he said he was about to “with tears of joy”. "It’s a very good result. Mr. O’Keefe has lost his case and has been ordered to pay costs," Lloyd said. "It’s been a long and extremely frustrating affair. I feel an incredible sense of relief and release from the weight of these false accusations."

Lloyd’s counsel, Stephen Gorry, said “Mr. O’Keefe had agreed to a judgment against himself and a complete withdrawal of the allegations against Lloyd.”

Mr. O’Keefe’s lawyer declined to comment. “Amazing” had been voted No1 in radio station Triple J’s 2001 hottest hundred poll , and was the most played song on Australian radio in 2002.

Elizabeth Taylor’s heart surgery was carried out successfully on Thursday. An announcement was made on twitter by the 77yr old actress herself, who replaced her publicist, saying that her heart operation went perfectly well and she feels like having a brand new ticker! She wanted to break the news to her fans to know before it was published in papers. The surgical procedure involved repairing her leaky valve by implanting a clip device in her heart. This will prevent the blood from leaking back into her heart through mitral valve. The operation was carried out in an undisclosed hospital. She has thanked her fans on twitter, for their prayers and wishes which has helped her.

Earlier this weak Taylor disclosed the news about this scheduled operation on twitter asking her fans to pray for her and gave the details about procedure that will be followed in repairing her leaky valve. Elizabeth Taylor suffers from a number of health problems and she often seen on a wheel chair during her rare public appearances. She was diagnosed with congestive heart disease 5yrs ago and suffers from severe back problem. She has also undergone a brain tumor operation in the past.

Jon and Kate Gosselin’s case will be heard by the court again on next Tuesday. Jon is contesting the claims made by his estranged wife that he took money from their joint account, and if these claims are proven to be true then he could be held in contempt. Since the wife of the judge handling this case passed away due to cancer the scheduled for the gearing has been postponed.

On 13th the Judge will address the issue raised by Kate’s lawyer that Jon has taken away $230000 from their joint account without permission.The Judge has the power to issue an order which can force Jon, if he committed such an act, to return the money. But Jon claims the allegations against him to be untrue and it is Kate who is hiding the money. His lawyers have prepared the legal paper which contests the claims alleging that Kate is the one who looted the account. But till then Kate was trying to gain public sympathies by going public about this financial crisis, and blaming Jon for the missing money and claimed that he left her without enough money to take care of her eight children.

Levi Johnston, the media hungry father of Sarah Palin’s first grandson will pose nude for the online magazine ‘Playgirl’ this year. The 19yr old high school dropout, who dated Palin’s daughter Bristol, is reportedly working out in the gym three hours a day and six days a week in order to look good for the photo shoot. He is been trained by a former Mr. Alaska competitor Marvin Jones who has prescribed a low calorie and high protein diet for Johnston.

After separating from the former Alaskan governor’s daughter, Johnston since then has been trying to find a break in acting and modeling.  For that he has been spending a lot of time in New York and Los Angeles and managed to bag a role in the pistachio commercial.  In the past also Johnston expressed his keenness to shed his clothes for the camera at the right price. Jamal Barrow, popularly known as Shyne in the music industry is set to release today. This American rapper was sentenced to ten years in prison for being involved in a shooting in a Manhattan night club in 1999.  Music moguls Puff Diddy and his ex girlfriend Jennifer Lopez were present at the scene of the highly publicized incident.

Shyne was only 21yr old then when he was imprisoned on charges of assault, gun possession and reckless endangerment. But P Diddy who was also present during the incident had a narrowly escaped imprisonment on charges of possessing a gun. This incident marred the shinning reputation of P Diddy and Jennifer Lopez dumped him when he was released from the charges. When the sentence on Shyne was given out P Diddy called it “unfair and extreme”, but he himself testified against Shyne as a witness which soured the relations between the two.

But P Diddy claims that he and Shyne are on talking terms now and there is no more bitterness amongst them. In fact he is happy that Shyne who is 30 year old now is finally coming home. But now once he is back, there is enough curiosity whether he will able to win back his old prominence as a hip hop artist or will he fade into the background like his contemporaries!

The collection will also consist of the chic Chantilly lace cocktail dress which she wore in the 1966 movie “How to Steal a Million”. Apart from the outfits the auction house also has plans to sell letters from Hepburn which gives details about her career and personal life.

Kevin Federline, the estranged husband of Britney Spears will join VH1’s new season of “Celebrity Fit Club” to finally get back in shape. Ironically, Federline has been in news for sometime for his weight! Kevin, a back up dancer, was a hunk which bagged him some lucrative acting and modeling offers until his split with Britney Spears. But he has been putting on a massive amount weight since his much publicized divorce with Britney three years back. The Tabloids have splashed pictures of an overweight Kevin which was being poked fun at and lambasted by the media.
