Former F1 driver David Coulthard thinks that the FIA should have punished Brazilian Nelson Piquet for the Renault race fixing controversy.

David said "I think FIA should have punished Piquet too, he was equally guilty as any other. It was really bad for F1, bad for the fans. The revelations have shaken many, including me." David raced for McLaren and later for Redbull, he retired last season and was here in India (Mumbai) speaking at a Red Bull promotional event.

David is scheduled to drive the Red Bull racing car on the new Bandra-Worli sea bridge in Mumbai on Sunday between 1400 and 1600 IST.

Vikki Zimmer, the wife of Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer, passed away Thursday in Cincinnati, according to a statement released Friday morning by the team, NFL reports.

Mike Zimmer is the Defensive Coordinator for the National Football League’s Cincinnati Bengals. He is the son of former NFL player Bill Zimmer.

Zimmer, an NFL defensive coordinator nine years back , replaced Chuck Bresnahan and finished the 2008 season with a rush: The Bengals went seven straight quarters without allowing a point and nine quarters without allowing a touchdown.

The Zimmers have three children.

ESPN blogger and sportscaster Erin Andrews has been videotaped naked through a peephole in a hotel room which shows her naked. The video was available at NSFWpoa.com, which said “Hot naked blonde who looks a lot like a sports blogger favorite in her hotel room.”

A strong objection threatening legal action was raised by ESPN which resulted in removal of the video. ESPN says that "We’re still waiting for a statement from ESPN about the whole ordeal and any further legal action they plan to take".

Erin Andrews is represented by the sports agency Career Sports & Entertainment in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2007 and 2008, she was voted "America’s Sexiest Sportscaster" by Playboy Magazine.

On July 8, 2009, Andrews was struck by a foul ball in the chin. The ball was hit by Alex Cora of the New York Mets. She was rushed to the hospital, but she only suffered bruises.

After finishing first in the 192 Km stretch from Vatan to Saint-Fargeau, Mark Cavendish is leading in the Overall Points Standing. The total distance covered in Tour de France till now is 1763.5 km.

There have been five stages that have concluded with a bunch sprint in this year’s Tour and Mark Cavendish has won four of them, says letour.fr.

With this win, Mark Cavendish has equaled the record of eight career stage wins of Barry Hoban. He is a double Madison World Champion and Commonwealth Games gold medalist on the track. As a road cyclist, he has risen to prominence as a sprinter. He achieved eleven wins in his first professional season. Richard Jefferson deserted her love, fiancée and almost wife Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols at the last minute without informing most of their friends and guests. Whether Richard developed cold feet or has betrayed Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols is not clear yet but hopefully we will know soon.

Although Amanda Rodrigues has not been officially charged, she has been arrested by the Brazilian Authorities after the death of her husband and former world boxing champion, Arturo Gatti.

Police said that they were not convinced by the explanations given by Amanda specifically the part when she is not able to explain how she was with Gatti even after 10 hours of his death without noticing it.

On July 11, 2009, Gatti was found dead in a hotel in Ipojuca, Pernambuco, Brazil. Gatti and his wife, Amanda Rodrigues, were on a second honeymoon with their 1 year-old son.

Arturo Gatti was a Canadian professional boxer. Gatti retired with a record of 40 wins and 9 losses, with 31 wins by knockout. On July 11, 2009 at UFC 100 at the Mandalay Bay Event Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, Henderson and Bisping settled their differences with their fists, culminating with Henderson becoming the first man to knock Bisping out, doing so in the second round with a crushing overhand right to the jaw as Bisping was circling to his left.

Before the knockout, Bisping was warned by his cornermen from the Wolfslair MMA Academy not to circle in the direction of Henderson’s power hand. This mistake resulted in Bisping’s second loss in his career while putting Henderson back into contention for a title shot at the UFC Middleweight Champion. The knockout punch also won Henderson a $100,000 bonus for "Knockout of the Night."
