Angelina Jolie remains the same enchantress, the beautiful woman whose character gets unraveled as the film ‘The Tourist’ progresses, while Johnny Depp this time becomes the traditional leading man (hero) in the film. In the recent behind the scene preview of the making of ‘The Tourist’ both Jolie and Depp not only talks about the film but about each other too.
As Angelina says that Johnny’s goodness and the sense of humor comes across in the film and unlike other character that the 47year old actor has played so far, Depp plays a character named Frank, who is more like the traditional old school hero kind of a guy. While Jolie remains the quintessential femme fatal in the film.
But unlike Jolie’s last film ‘Salt’ this new film ‘The Tourist’ has fun element to it and the feel good thing about it. Well it needs to be seen how good the film is and how well it performs in the box office as two of the Hollywood’s biggest stars are paring up for the first time so it will definitely pull some crowd at the beginning. However, will this traditional thriller film with a new and modern day approach have the strong story, script, screenplay and direction to tick in the box-office?
