‘The Tourist’ starring Angelina Jolie and heart throb Johnny Depp is due for a theatrical release next month and has an intimate shower scene between the two sexy actors. Even as the spectators waited with bated breath to lay their eyes on that scene, a disappointing news arrives in the form of its chopping.
UK’s Daily Mail reports that Johnny Depp’s long time girlfriend Vanessa Paradis was not comfortable with the sexual shower scene that was hogging a lot of limelight. Hence, reportedly, she pressurised Depp to ask the bosses to chop that scene off.
Johnny, seeing her mounting depression, asked the producers to exclude that scene and in all probability the scissors have been run on the most awaited scene of the year. In any case, that scene was only meant to tickle the male fantasy and wasn’t instrumental in the film’s unravelling of the story.
‘The Tourist’ is the tale of an Interpol agent (played by Jolie) and a tourist (essayed by Depp) and how the latter tries to seduce the former. While the deletion of the raunchy shower scene is bound to dishearten the males, their female counterparts would be more than happy with the proceedings.
