It’s Katy Perry and Russell Brand we are referring! Rather it’s the singer herself who has gone with the comparison with none other than Brangelina. She feels that her bond with her fiancé is hot enough to be the power couple of the industry replacing Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
As reported by Metro, the 25 year old singer was heard commenting on the fame of Russell Brand and Katy Perry. The occasion was premiere of her beau’s latest movie “Get Him To The Greek” that would open on 27th May 2010.
Katy was evidently confident about the success of the movie and she felt that such would be the overwhelming reaction of the fans for Brand that the couple would be the hottest talk of the town. In her own words, Katy said that she felt like there was a new Brangelina in the making after this movie!
Katy and Russell have been together since September 2009 before getting engaged in January 2010.
Though it is true that the couple is so much in love with each other and is of course an item, but replacing Brangelina will be really doubtful as far as popularity and fame are concerned!
We are happy to see such high hopes of Katy, but we are equally sorry that it might take few more years to be the new Brangelina!
