This isn’t creativity, rather crazitivity, as Lady Gaga would probably like to put it. In her latest interview to Vanity Fair, where she posed nude for the cover, the ‘Alejandro’ singer admits having abused cocaine to the point of obsession, something that drove her ‘completely mental’.
Thankfully for her, some really wise counsel from her granny made her a little sensible and as Gaga herself said, she had asked her “pick herself up, go back to New York, and kick some ass” when she had apparently struck ‘rock bottom’. Gaga, however clarifies that she now takes cocaine only occasionally.
“And when I say occasional, I mean a couple of times a year,” she said.
The 24-year old eccentric, however feels it was ‘it was enough to send a person over the edge’ subject to one caveat.
“I do not want my fans to ever emulate that or be that way. I don’t want my fans to think they have to be that way to be great. It’s in the past. It was a low point, and it led to disaster,” she added.
Gaga’s austerity doesn’t quite end here. Apparently, she’s abstaining from sex these days.
“I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone they’re going to take my creativity from me through my vagina,” she candidly admits.
