Dancing with the Stars 2010: Bristol Palin elbows past Brandy to head to finale

Season 11 of the popular show ‘Dancing with the Stars’ is taking unprecedented turns. In the final regular week (before the finale) the semi-finalists lined up as three of them were to head to the final stage with one to face the axe.

A look at the final 4- and it wasn’t too difficult to spot the weak link. However, what followed was some shocking voting results. Jennifer Gray, deservingly, was the 1st name to go through to the finals. She was followed by Kyle Massey who eclipsed over Brandy as the votes unfolded themselves.

This meant that only one spot was up for grabs with both Bristol Palin and Brandy vying for it fervently. At this point, it would have been an easy task to announce the name of Brandy as the final finalist.

However, contrary to all expectations and contrary to the general opinion, it was Bristol Palin who had the last laugh. Poor Brandy was told to walk out. Yes! The better contestant had been eliminated and a lowly talented Bristol Palin had gone a step closer towards claiming the trophy.

Did justice hang its neck in shame today? Or is the voting process to be blamed for this? Or was Palin the deserving finalist? Have your say, despondent readers!

  1. Alice Ehlert says:

Bristol Palin’s entry into the final three is criminal! She should have been eliminated weeks ago. As a result, DWTS is no longer a dance competition. It is a popularity contest. I will probably continue to watch the show, but why vote?

  2. Grace says:

The Canadians are just laughing about Bristol Palin’s being in the finals. What happens to the art of dancing? I think the judges should really do their judgment as oppose to public voting. On the other hand Brandy was over confident and last night was definitely a shocking moment, I did! So was Derek Hough and was caught by the camera…jaw dropping! If Bristol win, we definitely turn off our TV next week…its disgusting!
