Couple of days back the news did hit the web that Tony Parker has filed divorce from Eva Longoria, but it was not confirmed. However, now the news comes from the horse’s mouth rather Eva’s mouth that she has filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. The news was confirmed by Longoria’s friend Mario Lopez of ‘Extra’.
Mario gives some inside news about the reason behind the failure of marriage, where Eva found over hundreds of text messages that Tony had on his phone from another NBA teammate’s wife, though the name of neither the player nor the woman has been revealed by Mario or Eva. The ‘Desperate Housewives’ star also told the talk show host that she knows about Tony cheating on her while they were married and that he had a relationship with another woman via Facebook.
While Mario provided with all these anecdotes, Eva’s spokesperson ahs said that the actress has refused to comment on anything at the moment and that she will not be appearing at the American Music Awards.
On the other hand both Tony 28 and Eva 35 have pre-nup agreement and in the divorce suit Eva would seek spousal support from Tony however, will not be paying him anything. The details of the pre-nup are not available nor has the date when the couple exactly broke been stated. Both Eva and Parker has taken to their respective Twitter account to confirm the divorce news and had posted that they still love each other and pray for the other’s happiness.
