George Michael visiting police stations once again

Once famous for his music, the 47 year English singer has for the past few years become more famous for his arrests and court cases as opposed to his music.

The ‘Careless Whisper’ singer was arrested this Sunday in London, after his car reportedly crashed into a building on Hampstead High Street, where he lives. He was then taken to a north London Police Station and then released on bail only to return in August for further inquiries.

The gay singer was apparently caught smashing his Range Rover into a store on CCTV on Sunday night that was also the night of London’s Gay Parade and later held on suspicion of being unfit to drive.

For the ‘Faith’ star, a visit to a police station is nothing new. He has been arrested in several cases before, which include possession of drugs, rash driving and engaging in lewd acts in public places. But he doesn’t seem to learn from his mistakes it. Back in 2007 the singer was imposed with a driving ban for two years after he had pleaded guilty of driving under the influence of drugs. He had then collided with three parked cars. And nearly a year has passed since he began driving and he has again harmed public property with his rash driving sense.

Let’s hope the singer is now allotted a life time ban on driving so that the people of Hamstead can at least feel safe while walking down to their homes.
