There is a scene in the beginning of the movie where Leonardo DiCaprio’s character Dom Cobb sets the basic premise of the movie by saying these lines, “What’s the most resilient parasite? An Idea. A single idea from the human mind can build cities. An idea can transform the world and rewrite all the rules. Which is why I have to steal it.” This movie is Christopher Nolan’s brainchild and it undoubtedly is a brilliant idea.
Dom Cobb is an extractor, a person who steals ideas from people’s minds when they are in dream state. He has one last job to do, which is exactly the opposite of what he does. He has to plant an idea inside someone’s head or in other words, Inception. His heist team consists of a great team of supporting actors, with the likes of Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger and Michael Caine. Christopher Nolan is known for his attention to detail and stellar star cast. He didn’t disappoint us with either one in this case.
The movie is what you would have to call a thinking man’s blockbuster. You cannot just let yourself be distracted while watching this. And if you don’t intend to watch this then you don’t have a right to call yourself a movie buff. Chock full with fast paced action, gravity defying stunts and a taut screenplay there is never a dull moment while watching it. At the end of the movie, there is a certain possibility that you might not even like it, but you have to experience it for sure. I hope I have planted a seed of an idea into your mind for watching this. Just go ahead and watch the movie. You won’t regret it.

Inception is probably the best movie of the year! Nolan has outdone himself (again)! Before I saw it I was a little skeptical. Don’t get me wrong, I love Nolan’s movies, and post Leo has never ceased to amaze, their movies are always good. The whole idea sounded a bit out there. But then you see it and it is like wow, that worked better than you could ever imagine. It really is mind blowing! Nothing less than ten stars! Amazing!
