Grammy Awards turned their nomination announcement program into a TV special two years back. Now on the third year the music awards’ pre-show is shaping up to be something almost equivalent to a major award show night. On Wednesday, Nov’ 10th the folks of Grammy announced the names of some of the performers taking the stage for the hour long nomination program.
Justin Bieber, who has never received a Grammy nomination, will be performing on the nominations night and in all likelihood he might just get a nomination too. Katy Perry had previously got two nominations will perform too, and other singers taking the stage for the one hour long show will be Bruno Mars, country singer Miranda Lambert, B.o. B.
Hosting the show this year is rapper LLCool J and it will be his second stint as the host for the nomination special program. The 42year old rapper will host the show at the Club Nokia in Los Angles and will be broadcasted by CBS on Wednesday, Dec’1. However, the nomination blast doesn’t end here as more performers and announcers announced as they will be joining Bieber, Katy Perry and Miranda Lambert and LL Cool J.
The 2011, 53rd Grammy Awards will be held on February 13 at Staples Center, Los Angles and will be aired live by CBS. Before that on Nov’ 11 the Latin Grammy Awards will be held marking the 11th year of its show. Ricky Martin will present the Latin Person of the Year to Placido Dmingo the opera legend. Enrique Iglesias, Marc Anthony and Nelly Furtado will perform at the show on Thursday night.
