Justin Bieber’s shot to fame might have just blinded him. The 16 year old seems to be using words for a singer like Mariah Carey without thinking. Justin in an interview not very long ago when asked about if he would collaborate with Carey said that he doesn’t love the music that the older singer is recently making.
Well it would have been alright if the ‘baby’ hit maker stopped there with his comments but he went on to add that Mariah Carey has past the best she had, and compared her to Michael Jordan’s return to play NBA after retiring. These comments might not seem much to most Bieber fans, but to Carey’s fans these words would sting.
Justin should remember that Carey is one such recording artist to have the most singles to be number one and it is the benefits of the foundation laid by singers like Carey that these newcomers are reaping the benefits of. Just like the fact that Justin doesn’t like his detractors saying that his voice is a fake and technically manipulated, similarly Mariah’s fans won’t like Justin saying she is past her best.
This is not the first time Justin was said to have misused his fame and used the wrong words for people. For an Australian TV show he foul-mouthed one of the assistants of the show so with fame one needs to learn the lessons of showing other artists respect too.
