It’s a snub Lady Gaga who would find a little difficult to scoff at. The 42-year old Australian pop star apparently does not share Lady Gaga’s fetish for ‘outlandish outfits’.
She was reported to have said: “For me I could never do that full time. I love wearing those clothes on stage and in photo sessions, but the other side of me is too close to being hippy.
“I wouldn’t walk along a street in Chelsea in satellite dish sunglasses. That’s just not me.”
Not to end here. The ‘All the Lovers’ singer feels that she has apparently inspired Gaga.
She adds further: “I did that two years ago, darling! I think she’s great for the industry, but she wears those outlandish outfits to the shops - I never did, it was just for work.”
Never worry, Madam Gaga. It’s not just you who are currently facing her slander.
“I think you should look nice all the time. When I meet celebrities and they’re in casual clothes, I’m always like, ‘Whaaat?’ I don’t mean to be judgmental, but it would do them better to be who they really are, all the time. When I get out of a car and there are 30 fans waiting for me, I know I’m dressed the way I should be. There’s a reason they have that emotional reaction.”
