The 42 year old Australian pop singer, songwriter, and actress has relieved her current manager, her mom Carol Minogue of all managerial duties. This news has left Carol devastated.
However the reason for sacking her mom is not one of those often heard of in the industry like- her manager has been cheating on her or messing up her funds or career, or failing to perform her duties as a manager of a multi-award winning singer, but only because the pop star cares a lot for her mom and is concerned about her taking so much strain at this age.
Kylie feels its time her mom slowed down a bit and lived her life more comfortably. “My mum has been on every tour I’ve ever done…. I just wanted her to relax more,” Kylie told U.K. television host, Jonathan Ross.
The singer also added that working hard was her family trait and that all her family members love to “get stuck in” into work and that’s why her mom was not really happy with this piece of news. The compassionate daughter went on to say “But I said, ‘Mum… I’m just not sure I think you should be in the quick change anymore’. I was thinking of her…”
The ‘Confide in Me’ singer is the first of the three children born to her parents. Her father Ronald was an accountant and mother Carol a dancer. Kylie’s singer Dannii is a pop singer too and her brother a news cameraman.
