Lady Gaga: Is she losing it? – Less nominations in 2010 American Music Awards

The 2010 American Music Awards nominations were announced and it seems that Lady Gaga lost out to Eminem and Justin Bieber. Lady Gaga failed to top the nomination chart for the second time as she had to satisfy herself with only two nods from the association.

While Eminem scored really big this time with five nods for the 2010 AMA for his album ‘Recovery’, Lady Antebellum too led the nomination list by getting the mane in five categories. Following these two is the 16year old Canadian singing sensation Justin Bieber. The nominations for the AMA is based on the number of radio plays, sale of an artist’s singles or albums, video viewing and social network activity related to the singer’s works.

Lady Gaga can boast of 20 million fans on facebook and had her album ‘The Fame’ of 2008 is part of the Billboard charts for the 100th week; still she failed to surpass Bieber, Eminem and Lady Antebellum. She had to satisfy herself with nominations in “Favorite Female Artist” and “Artist of the Year” categories.

However, in the “Artist of the Year” category she won’t be going unchallenged as the hype creating Just Bieber in on the same list along with Eminem and Katy Perry.
