The singer who has recently beaten the ‘Queen of Pop’ Madonna to be the 4th in the list of the Forbes magazine’s ‘World’s Most Powerful Celebrities’ has revealed that she would avoid falling in love or becoming a mother as the two would not let her think creatively and thus cause damage to her career.
The 24 year singer in a recent interview says that motherhood demands way too much and hence affects one’s creativity in a negative way and thus in her case she does not see babies in the near future as she’d prefer to currently concentrate solely on her music career.
“I’m terrified of babies. I think, creatively, as a woman, you change once you give birth,” she said. “I’m totally not ready for that” .
And the ‘Poker Face’ singer is not just saying no, thank you to babies alone, she’s also not interested in being in a relationship too despite the fact she credits her becoming a star to her ex-boyfriend, heavy metal drummer Luke. “I wouldn’t have been as successful without him. I’ve never really loved anyone like I loved him. Or like I love him”, she said.
The pop diva added that it was her relationship with Luke that made her into a ‘fighter’ , but added that she really didn’t understand the word ‘love’ adding “ I suppose if I knew everything about love, I wouldn’t be good at making music, would I?”
Gaga also admitted that she has made big sacrifices in her personal life for her career - and sex is one of them. She adds, “Sex is certainly not, like, a priority at the moment.”
