The latest trend she is going to start is having bigger eyes! In her new video named ‘Bad Romance’ she will be seen with digitally enhanced eyes. The computer generated patterns will make her eyes bigger and give her an ‘anime’ or animated effect.
In real life the eyes can be made to look ‘anime’ by the wearing of circular lenses. Circular lenses, a type of contact lenses, covers a part of the white cornea apart from the colored iris, which gives an effect of having larger iris and thus bigger eyes. However most of the ophthalmologists warn their clients against the use of these contacts. They may in cases prove fatal to the extent of blindness. The Federal Drug Administration(FDA) has banned its usage in USA.
Lady Gaga might be the person responsible for bringing this trend in the states. In South Korea and surrounding countries ‘anime’ eyes is not a rare phenomena, and states is getting used to it slowly.
