You all must have heard about a little movie called “The Dark Knight”? Yeah, the one that made almost a billion dollars in its overall box office performance. Christopher Nolan, the acclaimed director of this action masterpiece is back with his new pet project curiously titled as “Inception”. Its plot has been strictly guarded by the people involved in it. Nolan, famous also for his movies such as the thought provoking ‘Memento”, the much welcome revamp in the form of “Batman Begins” and the critically lauded adaptation “The Prestige”, has rounded up a powerhouse star cast for his next venture. With the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, Michael Caine (Phew! I think I am running out of breath) and a host of other character actors, this promises to be one jaw dropping experience!
In publicity campaigns the movie has been using the same beaten path as “The Dark Knight”. But where this proved to be one of the strengths for the movie, for “Inception” it’s proving otherwise. Most of the curious fans have complained on chat forums, about the general complexity of clues randomly scattered around the television and the internet. Television ads relating to "Prevent Mind Crime" and viral clues leading to websites like mind-crime.com and whatisdreamshare.com have confirmed very little known facts and have thus left fans of Nolan slightly disappointed. For the time being we only know of this juicy piece that DiCaprio dons the role of a corporate dream thief who steals ideas from the “inner architecture of the mind” of business rivals. Sounds intriguing don’t it? Inception is releasing on July 16, 2010.
