The former ‘Transformers’ star has made more news in the media for her on and of relationship with actor Brian Green, than for her acting career it seems.
Fox has been dating Brian Green since 2004. The couple first met on the sets of the TV series Hope & Faith when Fox was just 18. They got engaged in 2006, but very clearly stated that marriage was not on the cards. They then reportedly ended their relationship in 2008, but again a few months later in 2009, the duo confirmed they were still seeing each other. Once again in June 2009 Fox in an interview stated that she was single, but was later spotted in the company of her boyfriend on several occasions.
The duo are in the news once again, but of course about a new twist in their relationship, it appears that had a second engagement. It was reported that Green proposed to Fox for the second time in Hawaii on the first of this month along with a 2 carat ring. Rumours were also floating that Fox apparently happened to drop that ring and had the hotel staff on their toes to look for it.
On being contacted to confirm the above, Fox rubbished the reports saying, that there was no truth in this story, “I don’t know where it came from, but someone made a lot of money for lying about a lot of things”. The star said she herself was surprised to come across articles of her second engagement. “We’ve been engaged for four years, so I don’t know why the story is breaking now like it’s new,” the actress said.
When questioned about her wedding plans, the 24 year old surprised everyone with the answer, “It’s going to be years! I’m going to be 44 when I get married!” Well in that case we assume there are going to be several more break-ups and amends between this couple. We wish Fox would also let us know that if she planned to get married only some 20 years from now, what’s the hurry with the engagement?
