The woman, who was fired as a flight attend for Oprah Winfrey’s jet for supposedly having sex during a flight last June with the talk show host was onboard has filed a lawsuit on Friday denying the charges. The victim Corrine Gehrls is claiming to be completely innocent and challenges the accusations made by the flight attend Myron Gooch and Kirby Bumpus, the daughter of Winfrey’s friend Gayle king, as false and being cooked up to get her fired. Gehrls and chief pilot Terry Pansing who are employed by Winfrey were reportedly fired for their alleged improper behaviors.
The defendant claims that Gooch leveled such charges against them when they complained about his refusal to work on scheduled time which sometimes required a change in his working hours so that he can get back home to attend his cats and his demands about staying in better hotels than the rest of the crew.
It is claimed that both the victims have passed polygraph tests after the charges were leveled but even then they were not reinstated. The lawsuit even argue that at the time of the alleged encounter the jet was grounded for refueling and was to take on a new crew while the passengers onboard were asleep for consuming sleeping pills. In the lawsuit Corrine Gehrls seeks more than $750000 in financial damages from Gooch, Bumpus and Harpo.
