Oprah Winfrey- the queen of talk shows hunting for her successor?

Oprah Winfrey, one of the most influential women in the world, rose to fame with her talk show, ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’,which ends next September after completing 25 successful seasons.
The 56 year old television host is now all set to launch her own television network called ‘The Oprah Winfrey Network’ (OWN) in January and she’s looking at hiring the best of talent for the same.
Oprah who was born and raised in poverty, rose to become a millionaire, at the young age of 32, because of the success of ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’. The audience and the critics loved her style of interviewing guests on her show. She was loud and aggressive and loveable, laughable and tender at the same time. Guests would automatically end up telling secrets they never thought could ever disclose on national television once they would sit down to interact with her.
Now this Queen of Talk shows is hunting for her successor and is giving all deserving candidates , whose talent is yet to be discovered a chance to apply. Oprah is looking for TV hosts for her own network and she’s doing it in style. She has teamed up with reality TV Producer, Mark Burnett, of the “Survivor” and “The Apprentice” fame to launch a show to search for a person fit to be a host on her network. This show will be called ‘Your Own Show: Oprah’s Search for the Next TV Star’. Those interested in applying can upload videos in a number of categories including interior design and cooking. Visitors to Oprah’s website can watch these videos and vote. Auditions for the show will take place in Texas and California this month. The host of this reality show is yet to be announced.
Just like Oprah’s own Talk Show we are sure this reality show will soon become a number one show- after all the whole world would want to see which participant can empress the reigning queen , so that he/she becomes the chosen one.
