The ‘Twilight’ star was bitten, well actually almost, no not by his on -off girlfriend Kristen Stewart, not by one of his million female fans and of course not by another vampire but by an animal as fierce as a Lion.
The star who is currently shooting for his movie ‘Water for Elephants’, was on the sets of the movie when he got attacked by a lion. The Hollywood heartthrob however was left unharmed as the Lion apparently had no teeth.
Water for Elephants is a circus- based film, where Rob plays a veterinary student who abandons his studies after the death of his parents and joins as a vet in a circus that’s struggling for survival during the Great Depression. Since the movie revolves around a circus, Robert ends up shooting with a variety of animals these days.
On the bite he says “Almost every day I’m working with an exotic animal… It’s insane, like I got bitten on the arm by a lion with no teeth. But Rob is glad that the otherwise ferocious animal was just being over friendly.
However when the Lion was actually required to grab the 24 year old star’s hand for a shot, the crew of the film had to actually get the animal to do it harder , as Rob says’ “he was being so gentle and just licking my arm." Looks like the Lion too has become a Pattinson fan.
