According to WTVC, a Chattanooga station, two children of a local family have been roped in to be cast as Robert Pattinson’s sons for the movie “Water for Elephants”. Sonya Gonzales, whose sons Liam, 5 and Mason, 7 have a special appearance in the movie, will certainly love her babies to have such a distinguished father!
Apparently, the casting crew did not know that the boys were siblings when they were filmed. The children are likely to make the appearance in one of the final scenes of the movie. Sonya was delighted when director Francis Lawrence (who earlier tweeted “We have wrapped Jacob!") assured her that her boys will feature in the movie.
Speaking to WTVC, Lawrence said, "We had to keep doing the same scene over and over again so they could see which one they liked better."
For Mason and Liam, it’s a momentous time of their lives, though they don’t probably realize it. Dressed in attractive short-sleeved shirts, the two spent the whole day on the sets at a local Chickamauga farm. For their young mother, it’s an equally memorable occasion, having had to spend a time with the star-cast in a weekend party. "He was so sweet and really nice and let me take a picture,” she said, referring to Pattz. Another twihard in the making??
