Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner’s Twilight co-star and the sexiest vampire alive (or dead) Robert Pattinson has turned down a handsome $2 million deal by Burberry refusing to become its brand ambassador.
Thanks to Rob’s global popularity and craze amongst the masses, the Burberry bosses were keen to have him aboard. Making him their new face would have been a trump card by the company. However, disappointingly, Robert has politely turned them down.
Reason? Robert is seemingly pretty focussed on his acting career and is in no mood to let out an otherwise image. Burberry deal would have presented him more like a model than an actor of great repute. Reportedly, he told the bosses that he was an actor and not a model and therefore he refused their plump offer.
Robert sees himself primarily as an actor and despite the fact that he is handsome and good looking, he is not trying to cash in on his looks. Robert is also not much into the fashion world. He recently revealed that he doesn’t mind wearing the same dress again and again; something that speaks volumes about his modesty.
But, all in all, Burberry were agog about having him. Now that he has snubbed them, they would have to look for a fresh face. What about his screen nemesis Taylor Lautner?
