These celebrities may have a fan base of millions, but it seems there are another set of people who are fed up of hearing and reading about these celebrities on a day to day basis and have now termed these stars as ‘boring’.
A survey conducted recently by Askmen.com, asked people to name male and female celebrities who they were now bored of and the survey results have been startling. The most sought after stars are also the ones people are not interested in any more.
The person heading the list of ‘most boring female celebrities’ is Katie Price and co-incidentally her ex-husband, Peter Andre is number one on the list of ‘most boring male celebrities’. The editor of Askmen.com said that the couple apparently topped the list because of their bad relationship and constant attention seeking acts.
Katie price is followed by pop diva Lady Gaga in the second position and singer Cheryl Cole in the third position. Recently jailed actress Lindsay Lohan appears 4th on the list and surprisingly the 5th position has been given to the first lady Michelle Obama.
Going by the list, one is convinced that these names have in recent times been over exposed by the media. Lady Gaga’s obnoxious dresses and acts ensure she’s in the news every day. Cherly Cole was also written and overwritten about especially after her hospitalisation two weeks back and her pulling out of the much talked realty show X Factor. Lindsay Lohan maybe in jail, but news about her, even if its how she’s not being able to adjust in jail, hasn’t still stopped pouring in.
In the ‘most boring male celebrity list’, Peter Andre is followed by none other than are over exposed Twilight star Robert Pattinson. Pattinson’s name apparently appears on almost all gossip tabloids and websites on a daily basis and hence people say they have become highly jaded by the star who teenagers are otherwise obsessed with.
The third place in the male list is taken up by disgraced golfer Tiger Woods whose sex scandals rocked the entire world this year. Music mogul and ex American Idol judge Simon Cowell was listed number 4 and English soccer star John Terry was named at the 5th position in the list.
Looks like these celebrities now need to re work on the PR plans to ensure that aren’t over publicized to the extent that people don’t want to read about them at all.
