The old Brad Pitt finally resurfaces, his dreaded beard is now gone

Described once as one of the world’s most attractive men, 46 years old Brad Pitt has since last year been receiving thumbs down from most of his female fans and it wasn’t his acting to blame but the dreaded facial hair he had been spotting for long. But the American actor has now once again re-surfaced looking attractive after getting rid of his dreaded beard.

The ‘Fight Club’ star had apparently been growing his beard since Fall 2009 for the role he needed to play in the movie ‘The Lost City of Z’. In this movie Pitt stars as British explorer Colonel Percy Harrison Fawcett, who went missing in the Amazon in 1925 as he searched for an ancient civilisation. The actor had not only been growing the silver beard but was also spotted with the beard being braided at times. Despite trying to be fashionable with his long matted grey beard, Pitt failed to win any appreciation from his fans for the same.

This wasn’t the first time the Award winning actor was experimenting with facial hair; he has in the past been spotted with an Errol Flynn moustache and a razor-sharp goatee. But his current beard was just too much for his fans to take.

Now however, Pitt’s fans can rejoice. He has finally shaved his face and emerged as the old handsome Brad Pitt once again. The actor has gone clean shaven to begin shooting for his next movie ‘Moneyball’, in which he plays Billy Beane, who succeeds in forming a baseball team despite a dearth of funds.

While his fans gave a sigh of relief when Pitt was spotted clean shaven, they also hoped that in the near future Pitt would make more use of hair extensions for such roles than torture all around with his bearded look.
