The movie ‘The Unstoppable’ is reportedly based on a real life incident wherein an unmanned train had simply gone on a wild run, with frantic helpless watchers and crews of other trains desperately trying to stop it .Even though the film has been changed a little in the actual context of its storyline the basic idea has been taken from this incident or so it seems.
This incident that had taken place in the Northwest of Ohio in 2001 and it had taken a full 60 plus mile run before it was finally brought under control by crew members of another train.
The movie has been dramatically shot with a crew comprising of Denzel Washington portraying an experienced engineer who is an expert at handling locomotive engines. Christopher Pine plays a young conductor who is full of life and energy and follows instructions to the perfect ‘T’.
The basic storyline in the movie is about an unmanned train running like wild fire at top speed and it is loaded with combustible liquids and some very toxic gases which could destroy any city within minutes. The engineer and the conductor, played by Washington and Pine chase the train and Pine is shown on a parallel train trying every possible way to stop the dangerous situation of the train reaching its destination.
This suspense thriller is truly a must watch and according to several media reports, it is one of the most engaging thriller plots that could give true value for money.
The movie releases 12th November. So watch out.
