Tom Felton: Harry Potter actor rues childhood loss. Justified?

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint’s co-star from the Harry Potter series, Tom Felton (who plays Draco Malfoy) is ruing missing his normal childhood days. Even though, Tom amassed a huge fame and fortune, he missed out on his formative years since he was busy throughout filming for the JK Rowling penned novels.

Despite fame and popularity kissing his forehead early in the life, Tom maintains that childhood is no price to pay for money coz one can never get those innocent years back and hence, they are priceless and not to be quoted against dollars.

He also slams overt amount of fame and suggests that fame is not exactly very positive thing. Even though, he finds it delightful to be cheered and hailed on the red carpet premieres of the humongous films, it is more of a fantasy and not related to the grounded reality.

And he remarks on a more personal note that it is not in his genes to get his name on a club door just because he can. Well, in one way, what he says is, indeed, true and it’s a good thing that he remembers his roots despite enormous fame crowning him.
