The two heavyweights of Bollywood, Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are known for the hostile feelings they have for each other , and it’s perfectly fine for them to nurture such feelings, after all the duo are direct completion to one another. While Aamir is the perfectionist who is known for making and acting in films with a cause in mind, Shah Rukh is the King of Bollywood and the masses favourite. The two of course are known for churning hits one after another.
Where both Aamir and Shah Rukh’s movies and acting skills are always under comparison, Aamir Khan is yet again giving another opportunity to the media to compare who between the two rivals is able to justify a Dilip Kumar act better.
While Shah Rukh Khan has already played a role done by Dilip Kumar earlier, Aamir is getting ready to play one. Shah Rukh performed the lead role in the re-make of the Hindi film ‘Devdas’, a role played by the legendary Dilip Kumar in the original movie released in 1955.
Now Aamir is looking at performing on one of Dilip Kumar’s famous songs ‘Dil Tadap Tadap ke keh raha …, from the 1958 movie ‘Madhumati’, in his upcoming film ‘Dhobi Ghat’. Co-incidentally Dilip Kumar is not the only common thing between ‘Devdas’ and ‘Madhumati’. Both these movies were directed by Bimal Roy and starred Vyjayanthimala in the female lead role.
Aamir will be performing on a re-mixed version of this golden era song. ‘Dhobi Ghat is being directed by Aamir’s wife- Kiran Rao’s and is being produced under his production banner.
We have already watched Shah Rukh do a Dilip Kumar , now let’s wait and watch for our very own Mr. Perfect Aamir do one and then let’s leave it for veteran actor Dilip Kumar himself to decide who wins the war of comparison this time.

Aamir is no less popular among the masses. His films like Ghajini and 3 Idiots have set records at the box office which even SRK couldn’t break. Aamir rules Bollywood now!
And please, Aamir is not copying Dilip Kumar. The news reports only suggested that he wanted the rights to use this song in the film. No report ever suggested that he’s going to reprise Dilip Kumar in the film.
And please don’t convert every news about Aamir, into an Aamir vs. SRK thing by deliberately fixing an SRK connection.
Those stars are not at war with each other. You media guys seem more obsessed to compare the two unnecessarily.
