You aren’t really sure whether you would like to show some empathy towards the wailing LiLo after she was awarded a 90 days jail sentence, after all she was given sufficient time to rework herself, but she preferred partying back then to rehab classes and following court orders.
Now when there’s no looking back and she’s to be heading for prison on 20th July in L.A, the actress has found a new way to mock court orders, she insists her sentence is a violation of human rights and even tweeted an article from the U.N. Universal Declaration of Human Rights to back up her claim. ‘No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment,’ she wrote.
Just two days after being awarded a sentence the ‘Mean Girls’ star has lost her legal representation too. Her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, who had been representing Lindsay since her troubles began back in 2007, has called it quits. The actress’s family attorney has now announced that they are currently looking for a new layer to replace Shawn.
Though we believe Lohan should serve her entire sentence, sadly due to prison overcrowding she might just serve something as less as 23 days behind bars. This isn’t the first time however that the star will behind bars, she has earlier too served some 84 minutes to be precise there and then released because of overcrowding.
When in prison Lindsay will be spending some 23 hours in two-bunk cell with a toilet and sink and will be given an hour a day for taking a shower and recreation. Here’s hoping she uses the 23 hours for doing some meditation that will help her emerge as better person.
