Rumors are afloat ever since Guillermo del Toro confirmed that he was going off the project “The Hobbit”. The movie tells the story of how the one ring from “Lord of the Rings” came to be in the possession of Bilbo Baggins. It’s more of a kind of prequel to the famous trilogy, and has been split into two parts to milk it dry. But del Toro did confirm one thing that was true is that he will still support the project along with Peter Jackson as a collaborator.
Now an interesting twist has been added to this, by David Yates name being involved with this movie. Yates is the director of the final four installments of the Harry Potter franchise and is credited with his more visual appeal and realistic approach to the series. So naturally he is the right man to go to if a big budget fantasy epic is in making, after Peter Jackson of course! So let’s hope these rumors do turn out for the better.
