FIFA man- Sepp Blatter all eager to continue next term after South Africa World Cup

The one man who deserves credit for pumping money into the game of football it is Blatter. The president of FIFA since 1998 is more than just happy with the happenings of his professional life. First time in the history of football total earnings have crossed the $ 1 billion mark; more than a factor of 10 since Blatter assumed office.
In a meeting of the delegates at the week’s Fifa congress, attended by 208 members of different countries, the president announced a bonus of $250000 along with $2.5 million to each confederation.
In South Africa World Cup FIFA has pumped in $1.2 billion, making it the richest sporting event in history. Blatter instead of making it the culmination of his career wants to make it a steeping stone to the next presidential term. Blatter, 74, said he wanted to go on. The week’s congress looked more akin to a political rally as compared to a meeting of top football executives.
Nevertheless of his political ambitions, he is the man to be credited who made the biggest event in football history and just did not stop there; he made it possible in the least expected continent of all- South Africa! South Africa with its brow-raising crime rate and grotesque reputation of getting things done is hoisting the world cup. Friday show was something which we can call spectacular.
Amidst manifestation of such mind boggling fascination expecting something less of the man behind it will be a shame. Blatter, is the right candidate for a continuation however will his political competitors and his old age turn him frail? Probably, time will answer this question.
