The existing iPhone 3GS users might not need to get disheartened with the entire buzz that’s surfacing for iPhone 4. Apple finally released its latest upgrade to the device software for its users. The upgrade is expected to provide respite to its existing iPhone 3GS users before their upgrade on to iPhone 4.
iOS 4 that was announced in the recently concluded WWDC 2010, was developed basically for the much awaited Apple product iPhone 4. The iOS 4 comes in bundled with a better user-interface, better customization and a better organizing of your files. iOS 4 brings in the much awaited feature iBooks to iPhone, which was earlier limited to iPad. The other notable feature in this product include better customization of your wallpapers, the addition of Spell checker to the existing predictive typing which was missing from long and was awaited by the users. For all those who have 100s of SMS’s stored in your gadget, iOS gives you a much needed breather with the SMS search feature, built very much on the lines of Email search. And one of the very important features, which might just be the biggest reason for an upgrade, is the Common Inbox feature for your mails. So even if you have multiple Email accounts, your Inbox might still be just one. The Orientation lock feature also scores well for the users who became rather irritated with the iPhone screen rotating automatically when not required. The new version also allows you to connect an external Bluetooth Keyboard to your gadget, allowing you type long and fast messages, provided the add-on device is compatible. The version 4 users will also have the advantage of 5x Digital Zoom for its Camera. And the much talked about feature of Multitasking [Though limitedly available depending upon your hardware version].
With all these added-features you might just get a preview of iPhone 4, before upgrading your gadget to the ultimate. But for now this new update is just going to make your life a bit easier and faster.
