IPad users recently have reported a network security flaw in the Apple’s flagship product, whereby they stated that their personal information was exposed. AT&T the wireless operator which has exclusive rights to carry the iPad and iPhone has accepted the breach which was first reported by website gawker.
AT&T further stated that the flaw led to the exposure of the email addresses, and that they have fixed the bug. In fact they have rather turned the feature off. The company rectified the error within 24hrs of its detection and said that it would inform the impacted customers for the same. Meanwhile Apple hasn’t released any statement in this regard.
On the other side, iPad continued its dream run and has already sold more than 2 million units till date. And very recently the number of iPad apps available for the iPad users to download has also crossed the 10,000 mark. Further authenticating the fact that iPad has been well received by the developers and the users as well.
With roaring success of iPad, apple is now counting on its latest product iPhone 4, to carry the momentum forward when released. Developers though have mentioned their curiosity in testing the all new iOS 4, which would be pre-loaded on the latest device from the Apple’s stable.
