Rupert Grint has shed a tear or two when he filmed the last scene of the ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’, but he too is looking forward to a life that is not run by Harry Potter anymore. He is ready to give himself the time and be in a relationship too, as he believes the last ten years though has been the best but didn’t give him the time to be in a relationship.

Though he finds it is strange at times that everyone knows him, but Grint has no problem being that special one, as he loves to stand out and not be everybody also enjoys the fact that he has the money to buy things that he loves. Those purchases may not be very practical ones but still he loves them.

Be it his latest purchases like a hovercraft which is “strange to drive” but he has his fun with that, or his orange Range Rover. Not very long ago he bought an ice cream van for himself. As a child he always wanted one, but though he is not able to use the van much as it has only one sit and once he used to stock it up, but not anymore.

Grint does agree that his ice cream van is kind of an impractical vehicle but he loves it and he loves his other vehicles too and as he likes to stand out in the crowd his vehicles surely does.

Only more than a month and a half to go before ‘American idol’ returns with its Season 10. But as the show has revamped with new judges and much more, so has the slots has changed. Fox is now ready to own the Thursday nights too, so ‘American Idol’ has been moved from Tuesday and Wednesday slots to that of Wednesday and Thursday.

Fox announced on Friday that the network will have ‘Glee’ at 8 in the night for the Tuesdays followed by ‘Raising Hope’ and ‘Mixed Signals’ a new sitcom. Also the network has revamped the ‘American Idol’ to a great extent where the hopefuls of the competition will have the opportunity to be part of a brand new music video and they have to craft some memorable visuals for it.

The age limit for the audition has been dropped to that of 15 and no longer the judges will give the final 24 contestants but dozens of singers will be introduced where fans will be voting. According to the channel both Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler have taken their job very seriously and the ‘AI’ veteran has stepped up his own game in the judging panel.

This will be the first show sans Simon Cowell and Fox will face another ‘AI’ veteran Paula Abdul in the viewership. As Paula will launch her ‘Live to Dance’ on CBS on Jan 4 where hoofers will compete for $500,000 prize money and it is launching two weeks before ‘Idol’ makes its Season 10 debut. So now it remains to be seen whether ‘AI’ can garner the same viewership that it boasted of once.

Monday a guy in Wisconsin shoots his TV after seeing Bristol Palin advancing to the semi-finals, now it seems the footwork of the young Miss Palin has sent someone else into take another kind of action. An anonymous mail was addressed to Bristol and it contained white powder.

TMZ reported that on Friday the letter with the powder was send at the CBS studio where the shooting of the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ takes place. The FBI told the website that the LAPD, the LA City and the FBI Hazardous Materials personnel went to the place and an evacuation was done in a part of the studio. Though the FBI refused to confirm the identity of the recipient of the mail because of the security and privacy reasons, however, it is now seen as the dislike for Bristol is escalating quite a bit.

ABC issued a statement that proper security measures were taken and the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that the white substance was nothing but talcum powder, but to be sure about it the substance was send for further testing to a regional lab.

The buzz is rife that Bristol has furthered into the competition because of the backing of the Tea Party activists. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint starring Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I has hit theatres worldwide and has cast a mesmerising spell on its sea of muggle fans.

The film is a brilliant outing by director David Yates who offers a sublime yet dark adventure ride to the movie goers. The film is basically a road movie as the 3 wizard friends- Harry Potter and his allies Emma Watson and Rupert Grint set out on their mission to hunt down and destroy Vodemort’s secret to immortality.

But in their Hogwarts-free environment, the comfort of safety is replaced by the omnipresent lurking fear of some dark power or a sneaking Death Eater. Even amidst solitude and quarrels, the power of friendship survives and takes the trio to a tumultuous ride.

Radcliffe is brilliant as usual; Rupert shines in the garbs of a revolting friend but the film clearly belongs to Emma who is right there from the very beginning till the end planning out their activities and assisting them to apparate and disapparate.

The film is certainly darker than its prequels and has moments of wit thrust in some rib-tickling scenes. The camera work and cinematography is of unassailable quality and the climax is perfectly suited triggering intense curiosity about the final battle which shall mark the conclusion when Deathly Hallows Part II releases on July, 2011.

Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watsons’  co-star from the Harry Potter series Rupert Grint has spoken up about the final scene that they filmed on the sets. Rupert has vented that an emotional day awaited them as they gave the shots with a heavy heart.

Rupert laments the fact that the final days gave him serious jitters. Though, earlier he was indifferent but as the last day approached the heart-wrenching feeling dawned on him that he would never be on this set again. He has been living in that room for 10 years playing the wizard Ron Weasley for the films based on the JK Rowling books.

He has now disclosed that even he shed tears on the last day as his heart ached for the agonising end.

For the very final scene, Rupert cites, "There was something really empty about it and final, plus the last scene was the most random scene we could have ended on."

But time moves on and so has Rupert. After his stint as the wand-flicking wizard, he shall now be seen playing a British skier in ‘Eddie the Eagle’. Meanwhile the 1st part of Deathly Hallows has opened worldwide to a terrific response from Muggles from all corners.
