Chris Hemsworth is to be the lead actor in the upcoming movie Thor to be released next year. Chris says that his Brother Liam Hemsworth helped him in getting the role. Liam too had auditioned for the same role. Liam gave him some tips for the role and this helped Chris secure the role.
This year in Comic-Con Thor trailer was shown with Hemsworth in action as the Thunder god Thor of Marvel Comics. Hemsworth also told the press that they used several versions of Mjolnir, the hammer. Also the iconic Infinity Gauntlet an item known to all comics fan was revealed at Comic-Con. The Infinity Gauntlet is one of the strongest powers in the Marvel Universe. It was created by Thanos, an Eternal in love with Death, to harness the power of six powerful Infinity Gems. Thor is based on the version of the god in Norse Mythology. Thor was created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Larry Lieber. The movie is likely to feature Loki, Thor’s arch-nemesis and stepbrother.
The Movie is to be directed by Kenneth Branagh who has been nominated for Oscars four times. Natalie Portman too is to star in the movie.
