American actor Kevin Costner, best known for his roles in movies like Dances with Wolves, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and The Body Guard is one of the few Hollywood stars to never come back for a sequel to any of his blockbusters. However when it comes to personal life, Costner seems to believe in ‘the more the merrier’ rule, he is going to be a dad for the 7th time.

Kevin and his 3rd wife Christine Baumgartner are expecting their third child in June, as revealed by Costner to the German Magazine Bunte. This Oscar winning director and actor married German model and hand bag designer Christine in 2005 and the couple have two sons, Hayes Logan, 1, and Cayden, 2.

Costner has four children from his previous relationships; three children with ex-wife Cindy Silva, and one with Bridget Rooney.

The 55 year old actor who is also an ardent baseball fan, as is visible from several of his films themes now seems to be very close to building his very own family baseball team.

And as per the latest reports, it would appear that the first pictures of the hotly anticipated ‘Apple Tablet’ may have already made its way to the cyber space.

While the same still awaits an official confirmation, a buzz has already been generated on line by two new pictures, which appears to be a prototype of the Apple Tablet.

Indeed, the twin eye –catching images, features the one of a kind phone, which is currently being readied for commercial release in the ‘Apple’ stable, and the tablet is seen to be enclosed in a leather case with snaps.

From the evidence of the said visuals, it would appear that the ‘Tablet’ is not a miniaturized gadget and is kind of good in size and from a closer look; it becomes fairly evident that the same is quite at variance with an Apple iPhone and a Safari browser, but of a highly-scaled resolution.

A cellular service icon, saying ‘No Service’, and a WI –FI Meter can further be spotted in the visuals, but the carrier of the same is not properly visible.

Suffice to say that, the visuals alone would have set off a manic frenzy among millions of gadget freaks worldwide, who are dying to lay their hands on this newest ‘Apple’ baby.

It is further learned that ‘End Gadget’, has reportedly been tipped off about some essential features of the App le Tablet and it goes as thus;

“The device will have a 10-inch screen and look like a larger iPhone with a Mac Book-like aluminum back, and that pricing will run $800 on contract with Verizon and $1000 without when it arrives in March,  also that the official name remains a secret and that Apple employees are still calling it by the codename of K48. “

We will sure keep our eyes and ears trained for any further appetizers on the Apple Tablet!

As reports have emerged claiming that Tiger Woods have checked into a rehab to overcome his sex addiction in order to save his marriage and career,  the news gave rise to a the big question: whether the golfer will now be forgiven? According to Chicago Tribune there is high chance of Tiger Woods being forgiven.

According to an Orlando Sentinel journalist Americans forgives a culprit if he admits his guilt or by labeling him. Since Tiger Woods didn’t plead guilty in public he has been labeled as a sex addict. It’s now apparent that Tiger Woods suffers from sex addiction andhe is getting treated for that. Like one cannot blame a drug addict, alcoholic for their actions, similarly Tiger Woods cannot be blamed, the journalist said.

Another journalist shared a similar view. He feels that Tiger Woods is the only famous sportsman to join a rehab for sex addition.  By joining the rehab he has taken up the initiative to correct his behavior. If public can forgive Alex Rodriguez and Mark McGwire for saying they messed up they can also forgive Tiger Woods who has taken actions to solve the problem, he claims .

A person with the Los Angeles Times said that the Tiger Woods decision to join rehab won’t make any difference.  Offences in sports like major assaults and PED use are not easily forgotten by the public. But the cases of adultery, marijuana, biting ears, paternity cases, sex addiction, lying, bad mouthing coaches and teammates are forgotten by the public with time.

Even as bubbly celeb chamer Brittany Murphy left a legion of grieving mourners, following her untimely passing, back in December, speculations raged on in grapevine circles on the probable causes for the sad demise.

Even the investigators, who called in at her Beverly Hills address, reportedly collected numerous samples of prescription drugs, thereby fuelling rumors that the troubled actor could have been living off the same.

However, as per a report carried by Contactmusic, it now appears that the actor’s bereaved husband, Simon Monjack, has reportedly claimed that the prescription drugs that were recovered from their Beverly Hills lair were his and not Brittany’s.

It further appears that, Monjack has sought to savage the prescription drugs angle to Brittany’s demise that has already garnered a fair currency in buzz circles, and has reportedly insisted that the only pills that the actor took were for menstrual cramps and laryngitis.

Simon was further quoted as saying to People’s mag that the bubbly actor took medications for flu like symptoms and laryngitis and ‘was on an antibiotic and taking cough medicine.’

He further revealed that the actor also took a drug called Vicoprofen for severe menstrual cramps but nothing that ‘could have possibly led to her heart attack.’

Again it appears that Brittany’s mother has testified to Simon’s claims and has further shot down reports of the actor suffering from an eating disorder.

She was quoted as saying, “She never even drank… maybe a glass of champagne at New Year’s. But everyone used to say she was wasted, she was this, she was that. It was hard for anyone to imagine that somebody was so high on life.”

Wonder if we will ever get to know the actual reason behind Brittany’s demise!

Just when we thought its Motorola was all set to launch the Droid which was supposed to be the iPhone killer; HTC’s Droid Eris came out of the shadow and guess what? It’s all set to kill the Motorola Droid. Now that’s what they call “Slaying the slayer.”

On one side Motorola created a huge buzz in the market as the news of its Droid launch in November 6th spread all around, and on the other side we did not even know that HTC was all geared up to launch its Droid Eris at the exact same date.

So why are launching the same kind of phone? Actually it’s just the name! Everything else differs. Droid Eris will cost $100 with a two-year contract which is half the price of the Motorola Droid. Droid Eris is lighter, and more pocket friendly than the Droid. HTC’s slick Sense user interface overlay is also a lot more aesthetically appealing than the Android 2.0 or Éclair as they call it.

Things you would have to compromise for an Eris would be physical keyboard, faster processor, and high-res display and things which remains the same as Motorola Droid would be the 5 megapixel camera, 3.2-inch capacitive display, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headphone jack, and micro SD expansion up to 16GB.

So next time when you go to buy a Motorola Droid, don’t forget to check out on the HTC Droid Eris. Not a bad deal for half the price! What say?

Where looks are concerned, the competition is tough like no other can be. Salman is a regular demi-god, adjudged by People magazine to be the seventh most handsome man in the world, Shahrukh is the cynosure of a million female eyes and Aamir with his post Ghajini body can make any woman swoon.

Loyalty…..ah that’s a good one. Aamir has been to the altar twice, Salman needs to keep an altar permanently booked all year round at the rate at which he changes his girlfriends…and standing tall is the family man SRK, still very much in love with and faithful to childhood sweetheart Gauri. He has a definite edge there.

Yes! That right! Cookie monster stays the way he is. Since quite some time, there have been rumors loitering, that cookie monster would turn into veggie monster. It was being said that the producer of “Sesame Street” were renaming the Cookie Monster to “Veggie Monster” because they wanted to promote a healthy message for babies, which would encourage them to consume veggies.

Snopes.com pointed out that the rumor is false. The “Sesame Street” people did want to promote healthy nutrition, and made a conscious decision to start including more programs dedicated to it. This news got magnified as well as exaggerated and rumors flew around saying Cookie Monster turns Veggie Monster.

So they did not actually converted Cookie Monster to Veggie Monster but they sure did have him develop a liking for fruits and veggies. The show also introduced new characters such as talking eggplants and carrots. The show also brought in guest stars like Alicia Keys and politicians like Hillary Clinton. While Alicia sang about the importance of physical activity, Hillary discussed the various textures and taste of foods with small red monster.

One thing is for sure that these interesting initiatives do attract kids for better or for worse. Where McDonald attracts kid with its happy meal and the free action figure and makes children consume fast food and grow fat, “Sesame Street” attracts children towards the beautiful world of veggies which are colorful, beautiful and good for health.

Though the cold war between the search engine giants have been going on for decades, YAHOO is getting all geared up to fight GOOGLE in India. 

The first jab by YAHOO came on October 6th when it bought a full page ad in Times of India. Latest reports on search engines and their usage in emerging countries like India, Brazil and China suggests that GOOGLE is light years ahead of its rivals MSN and YAHOO. The reports also suggest that GOOGLE is strengthening its hold at a steady pace and will prove itself for the long haul. Predictions are being made about GOOGLE widening the gap even more in the future.

These reports have prompted GOOGLE to engage in advertisement campaigns through out INDIA, especially with the help of leading INDIAN newspapers. YAHOO seems to have woken up to these reports thus responding with the October 6th full page ad in the front page of Times of India. The blast by YAHOO is mighty. There couldn’t have been a better ad place than the front page of India’s largest circulated English daily, The Times of India.

YAHOO reaches 26 million internet users in India out of a mass of 35 million users it wants to further improve its hold in a rapid emerging market like India.

The Swiss Justice ministry has rejected the bail pleas by the Oscar winning US director Roman Polanski and decided to keep him in prison till his possible extradition to United States. The 76year old director of the Oscar winning film “The Pianist” is wanted in the US on charges of raping a 13year girl in 1977. But the director fled the country in 1978 before he was sentenced by the US court, and since then he lived in European countries which do not have extradition agreements with US.

But in September 2003 he was caught by the Swiss police at the Zurich airport when he arrived for Zurich Film Festival. The Swiss ministry feels that there is a high possibility of Polanski fleeing again if released from custody so it took such a decision. The Swiss officials are now waiting for official extradition requests from the US. But meanwhile Polanski’s attorneys are trying to find ways to fight the extradition.

His attorney has been trying to seek help from Warner Bros Inc, Sony Studios and Directors of American Guild. In the past Polanski tried to settle the case against him by agreeing to pay an amount of $500,000, as demanded by the victim named Samantha Griemer in financial damages. But it’s still unclear whether the money was ever paid to her.
