Just four days after taking Lindsay Lohan’s case Lawyer Robert Shapiro quit the Lohan camp. This is the second time this week that the 24 year old actress finds herself without a lawyer. Earlier Shawn Chapman Holley resigned reportedly after the lawyer came to know that the actress had Painted “f**k u” on the finger nails. However Shawn Chapman Holley accompanied her as her lawyer to the courtroom today. She reportedly was cuffed with poise and taken to woman’s prison.
Shapiro has declined to comment on his stepping down as Lohan’s attorney. Shapiro is famous for being on the dream team which defend O.J. Simpson.
Being without lawyer on the eve of her imprisonment seemed to have unnerved her. She tweeted to her fans, “the only ‘bookings’ that I’m familiar with are Disney Films, never thought that I’d be ‘booking’ into jail … eeeks.”
Lohan had been staying at Shapiro’s rehab facility for four days. She was booked in 2007 for drunken driving and cocaine possession in 2007. On July 6 Judge ruled that she had violated her probation and was sentenced to serving an additional 90 days. She has previously served 84 minutes in jail on November 15, 2007. Lohan will be spending 23 hours in a 12 by 8 foot cell every day.
Lohan has acted in moves like The Parent Trap, Freaky Friday, Mean Girls and I Know Who Killed Me.
