Can Justin Bieber pull teens back to book reading?

In this tech savvy world where teenagers are exposed to numerous gadgets and have a ready reckoner on any topic in the form of the World Wide Web, is there anything that can pull them back to reading something as simple as a comic?

Well at least Bieber’s teenage fans may be enticed to do so soon. The teenage heartthrob’s life story is soon to be out in a comic book. Bluewater Productions who are known for publishing biographical comics under their Fame series for several celebrities have announced that they would be publishing a 32 page Fame: Justin Bieber’ comic book. The book is expected to hit the stands in October at a price of $3.99.

Apart from Bieber, other celebrities to appear in comic books include Lady Gaga, David Beckham and Robert Pattinson.

The 16 year old singer and songwriter, who owes his career to a video of his posted on Youtube, recently beat Lady Gaga’s you tube record. His music video ‘Baby’ became the most viewed music video of all time.

With so much of fan fare, can the Bieber fever help in the sales of the comic books too? All Bieber fans we are sure must have read about his life inside out already on the internet, then what is it that will attract them to spend money on his comic book? Let’s hope Bieber has some fascinating untold facts about his life to disclose in this book, something spicy enough to generate teen interest, then for all you know there could be a new record in the sales of the Fame series too.
