LeAnn Rimes is not very proud of herself after she cheated her way out of her eight-year marriage with Dean Sheremet. The 28-year-old country singer tells that she understands people’s disappointment in her and she does not feel good about the way she acted either but that their marriage wasn’t working anymore and she grew desperate.

"I understand why people are disappointed in me, especially since I grew up as America’s sweetheart," Rimes tells the October issue of Shape, on stands Sept. 20. "I think any relationship is hard to get out of, and I don’t think the way I did it was right." 

Her marriage with Sheremet ended after it became known that she was making out with actor Eddie Cibrian. She earlier told People that although their marriage wasn’t going anywhere, she was ashamed the way she put an end to it.

"I did one of the most selfish things that I possibly could do, in hurting someone else," she told back in June. She now tells Shape that marrying young may be one reason behind the failure of the marriage. 

"It wasn’t a fulfilling marriage for either of us," she said. "As we got older, we grew apart."

The Literary and Debating Society of the Jai Hind College organized their annual Staff VS Students Debate on 25th Aug, 2010. The topic , very apt for today’s times, was ‘For effective nation building, students need to be politically active’ and the teams were being judged by well known personalities like Pooja Bedi, Gaurav Kapur and Yudhishtir Urs.

The teachers (staff) were for the topic while the student team opposed the topic. Like any nation loving man would have desired, the teacher’s team who was for the topic, won. The teacher’s team (proposition) comprised of Prof Jasmin Gazdar, Prof Brakha Malyamkar and Prof Omkar Patki. The students team (opposition) comprised of Rusina Karia, Chirag Thakkar and Shreya Bhargava. The teachers won the trophy for the Best team and Prof Omkar won Best Speaker and the support of an audience of 400 in the Jai Hind auditorium!

Laurence Fishburne‘s daughter tells TMZ that the legendary actor is "very hurt" over her new XXX career path  … but for some reason, she’s confident they can bury the hatchet.

Montana Fishburne — aka "Chippy D" — tells TMZ, "[My dad] is very upset. I heard that he’s mad at me but I haven’t spoken to him yet.  I feel pretty confident that I can work things out with him."

But here’s where she might be wrong — adding, "I think he wants to support me in everything I do, and though he sees this now as a negative, I believe in time he will view it as a positive."

According to Montana, she and Morpheus have always been on good terms — in fact, up until the whole porn thing, she claims they spoke on a weekly basis. However, Montana also tells us she never gave her dad a heads-up on the porno news.

Montana tells us she plans to meet with her father soon to hash everything out.

TMZ has learned the reclusive 32-year-old son of Frank Sinatra Jr. is currently hospitalized after authorities responded to a 911 call for a possible suicide attempt this afternoon in Downey, CA.

According to law enforcement sources, the patient — who is also named Frank and is the son of 66-year old Frank Jr. (above) — had consumed too many pills, but was conscious when authorities arrived on the scene.

A source close to the family tells TMZ it was indeed a "suicide attempt." We’re told the younger Sinatra has always shunned the spotlight that’s come with the family name.

Sinatra is currently being treated in the ER at Downey Regional Medical Center.

A source was reported to have said, “The trainer said yes, but that it would cost Rob because he’s a show dog with special acting skills. Rob laughed and said he’d pay whatever. He loves that little pooch.”

Rob had been quite depressed with the death of his little pup, Patty, whom he regarded as a member of his family.

“I keep talking about my dog all the time. It was an incredible dog, and I said in an interview recently he was the most important person in my life,” the star admitted.

“My family went crazy with me for saying that. But, however ridiculous it may seem to some people, my relationship with my dog was a defining moment. Having the dog die was, literally, like the worst day of my life. It was like losing a family member.”

One of the women claiming Casey Affleck harassed her on the set of his Joaquin Phoenixdocumentary was "often inappropriate" on the set … this according to one of Affleck’s reps.

The woman — Magdalena Gorka — filed a $2.25 million lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court recently, claiming Affleck engaged in a pattern of harassing behavior during production … and then refused to pay her for work as a cinematographer when she left the project.

But Affleck’s camp calls the lawsuit "absolute fiction" … and insists the whole thing is "fishy" — saying, "[Magdalena] hasn’t worked for the movie since April 2009 … it’s interesting that she hasn’t filed until now."

In fact, Affleck’s rep claims that if anyone ever acted improperly — it was Magdalena … noting, "several crew members have told us she was inappropriate on set."

Calls to Magdalena’s lawyer were not returned.

Chris Hemsworth is to be the lead actor in the upcoming movie Thor to be released next year. Chris says that his Brother Liam Hemsworth helped him in getting the role. Liam too had auditioned for the same role. Liam gave him some tips for the role and this helped Chris secure the role.

There have been many rumuors surrounding English Actress Cheryl Cole and her estranged hubby Ashley cole about their relationship status. Derek, who is thought to be staying with Ashley, can’t stand what he did to Ashley and the confrontation between the two men would only make Cheryl’s recovery from Malaria more tough.
